2018 Racing Season So Far.

This season has flown by. It seems like only last week that we were preparing bikes for to the opening round in April and now we are almost finished. Fleeting it may seem, but successful it certainly has been. Works Racing's customers have racked up more podium finished this year than ever. Rather than list them we thought a spreadsheet might demonstrate our current dominance of classic racing in the UK with standard bore Lansdowne-specification bikes:

1st 2nd 3rd
Donington 1
Donington 2
Donington 3
Snetterton 1
Snetterton 2
Snetterton 3
Snetterton 4
Mallory Park 1

16 Races

The picture of Glen English (25) and Dean Stimpson (78) gives some idea of why there is no Works logo in P1 for the last race at Donington. The two riders were well ahead of the pack when on the second from last lap they got a little too close and both ended up in the gravel! That's racing for you I suppose.

With just Cadwell Park left to go, it is no surprise that the top three Championship positions are all held by Works Racing customers.

Aside from the Bonhams Lansdowne British GP Championship, Works Racing's own Patrick Walker will be taking the team's thunderous Vincent Black Lightning to the Goodwood Revival (watch this space for an interesting announcement regarding our 'Star Rider') and riding at the end of season Portimao races in Portugal. Then its back into the machine shop for the winter.

Just like this season, winter will be over before we know it. So, if you are thinking about some 'Works-Power' for 2019 get in touch soon.
